Ten Reasons to Resist AI

I accompanied Joseph Mogul on a deep dive into the many different and interconnected ways that AI is infecting our world, and the resistance being mounted against it.

The illustrations I made to accompany these pieces were painted by hand with hand-made watercolors — infused with thought, care, toil, and intention. They took a long time to paint. I sat outside as I worked, at my messy desk, and in coffee shops, lulled by the chatter of other people. I love being alive and watching the world and reading Joseph’s powerful writing and accidentally smudging my paint and keeping the pencil marks.
